I received the token in April and have carried it with me ever since. Today, on top of a mountain outside of Las Vegas, I found the next recipient. A nurse - very pregnant, came to the rescue of a guest of the restaurant that I manage. The guest has been undergoing chemo and became very ill. While waiting for the paramedics to arrive, the nurse asked all the right questions and said all the right things to make the patient feel better. And this nurse (angel) was on her way out of the restaurant, having all ready eaten. Yet she took the time to care for another person who needed her! I could think of no better person to pass the token to than this angel!!

I have carried this token in my purse for the past 2 1/2 years waiting to feel the nudge to pass it on to someone. The day has finally come. I was recently diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer and after hearing of my situation a very dear person from my past sent the most beautiful bouquet of flowers to my home. I truly love flowers, they have brought me much happiness my entire adult life, and this bouquet was extra beautiful and extra special. It brought me smiles during an extremely difficult time. I was `extra-touched` because it came from someone from my VERY distant past whom I had lost touch with ... the fact that she was so moved to do this for me felt like a very exceptional act of kindness. Thus, today I am mailing this token to her so that it can begin the next stage of it`s long over due journey. I hope it will find it`s way into the hands of many kind people. People that take the time and compassion to touch other people ... the way Jesus taught us to do so long ago.

Token was given to my grandmother Ludmilla Roth of Austin, Texas several years ago. I noticed this token when we were cleaning her house, when she moved. Sadly I do not know who gave it to her. She was a resident of her neighborhood for over 40 years. On her daily walks she carried enough treats to feed every dog she encountered. She even carried pecans and hand fed the squierrels. She talked to almost everyone she met and they all knew her at first as the nice lady who always fed their dogs. Over time she built many lasting friendships just by feeding their dogs.
